Our Services


Our research services, which includes social and opinion research, involve the systematic gathering and interpretation of information about individuals or organizations using statistical and analytical methods and techniques of the applied social sciences to gain insight or support decision making. Our marketing research services on the other hand involve the process or set of processes that links the producers, customers, and end users to the marketer through information-information used to identify and define marketing opportunities and problems; generate, refine, and evaluate marketing actions; monitor marketing performance; and improve understanding of marketing as a process. They specify the information required to address these issues, design the method for collecting information, manages and implements the data collection process, analyzes the results, and communicates the findings and their implications. The services include customer satisfaction studies, brand analysis, product and communications studies, sales channels measures, pricing and stakeholder analysis to name only a few.

Reputation Management

We understand the importance for a client organisation to continuously assess stakeholder perceptions, monitor changing beliefs and expectations and implement effective internal coordination of its reputation risk management function. Reputational risk, often called reputation risk, is a type of risk related to the trustworthiness of a business. It is a fragile asset that is broad and far-reaching. It includes public perceptions across the following areas; image; goodwill; and brand equity. Damage to a client organisation’s reputation can result in loss of revenue or destruction of shareholder value, even if the organisation is not found guilty of a crime. Whilst a client organisation’s reputation is intangible, it is a valuable asset. Using the lessons learnt and wisdom obtained from over 15 years of experience in management consulting, research, and reputational risk management, we generate credible reports based on credible data, trusted quantitative, qualitative and triangulation methods while employing relevant data treatment techniques.

Strategy consulting is the industry and practice of assisting businesses with high-level decisions that enable them to do this. Strategy is distinct from operations in that strategy addresses the question "What do we do?" while operations addresses the question "How do we do it?" Our Management Consulting Practice focuses on helping client organisation to improve their performance operating primarily through the analysis of existing organisational problems and generating solutions for improvement. We offer “advisory and/or implementation services to management of organisations with the aim of improving the effectiveness of their business strategy, organisational performance and operational processes. We also assist organisations find new and better ways of doing things. We ensure that important components of our client's businesses, people, processes, systems, markets and suppliers) “speak” to each other by carefully addressing issues of, how our clients want to do business; what competencies our clients have versus what is needed to achieve objectives and finally expectations versus opportunities and threats in the marketplace.

Our Team

Kennedy Murire
Managing Director

Kennedy is the current Managing Director at BlueHills Advisory and holds directorships in the various BlueHills companies. He is a professional management consultant and researcher with extensive work experience in South Africa. Having graduated and worked as high school teacher for four years, he was recruited by Product Development Laboratories (PDL) and later by Gateways Business Consultancy where he received extensive training in quantitative and qualitative methodologies. While at Gateways, he started developing diagnostic tools for various studies. Kennedy is the Group Chairperson of the BlueHills Group. He has a Master in Business Administration from Business School Nederland and over 20 years work experience.

Guy Ngosi
Director Operations

Guy is the current Director responsible of operations at BlueHills Advisory and holds directorships in the various BlueHills companies. He is a registered business accounting professional with over 25 years of experience in accounting and financial management. He has worked for the National Sports Council, South African Sports Commission and the Accounting Standards Board. Guy is the also the current Group Chief Executive Officer of the BlueHills Group. He has a diploma in Entrepreneurship Development Programme (Mini MBA)-University of Pretoria, Entrepreneurship Course (Mini MBA)-Wits Business School, a Certificate in Theory of Accounting and an ACCA (UK) Advanced Accounting Certificate both from Rand Afrikaans University (RAU) and Diplomate Accountant obtained in 1999.

Grace Mabena
Senior Associate Consultant

Grace is a seasoned FMCG retail & logistics expert and is our Senior Associate Consultant. She has extensive experience in Retail Marketing, Account Management Brand Management & Logistics. Her career spans close to 17 years. She has worked for MSC, Bidvest, Unilever and Colgate Palmolive where she gained her business acumen coupled with her a BBA in Marketing Management, a Post Graduate Diploma In Management Paractise and an MBA from Henley Business School. At the moment she owns a Venture Capitalist firm where she rescues embattled SME’s financially. Her capabilities include business diagnostics, branding, marketing and sales.
